Lemon Squares

While I'm at treats, and recipes from my Grandma Wirthlin, this is one I have to post...I remember them as one of my favorites growing up!

Crust:
2 squares or 1 cup melted butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour

Mix the above ingredients and put in a 9x13 pan.  Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned around the edges.

Filling:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
zest of one lemon
1/2 tsp baking powder

Blend the above ingredients in a blender or using a hand mixer.  Pour over hot crust and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar.  Cool and cut into bars.  Refrigerate leftovers.
